TOP 5 NFL OFFENSIVE FREE AGENTS

http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/jimmy-graham-nfl-free-agency-seahawks-saints-interested-stats/5f9de9pfqbpy1i9uq89dluqz1
The franchise tag deadline has passed, making this much easier to do. Now, who knows what is going to happen during free agency. Honestly it is going to be an interesting off season and many teams will have different faces going into this year. Case Keenum did not get tagged, Leveon Bell did and Drew Brees still isn't signed. There is no way in hell that Brees leaves but like I said you never know. So here we are, my top 5 NFL offensive free agents.

5. TE Jimmy Graham

Jimmy! Man do I love this guy. Jimmy, you've saved me so many times in fantasy football. Love ya. Graham is old, but he can still put on a show. This past season he caught 10 touchdowns and was an absolute beast. Not to mention he led my fantasy team to a championship. Rumor has it he may be returning home with Brees.... watch out. This dynamic duo will be unreal if they are reunited. You can bet your ass ill be drafting Jimmy if he is back in NO. Nonetheless I think he can produce wherever he goes but will explode in the city that got their hearts broken this year.... :).

4. RB Carlos Hyde

Ah, Carlos. You've fucked me over so many times in fantasy football. How I adore you. The thing about Hyde is he is consistent from year to year. Notice how I said year to year not game to game as he will fumble twice and rush for 30 yards in one game. But nonetheless he is a consistent back who will rush for 1000 yards and get you 6-8 touchdowns. Now, he was on the shit sipper 49ers so maybe if he was on a better team he would do better. I do feel bad for Carlos, just as he is about to leave the 49ers are going to take the league by storm with Jimmy G and the boys. Hyde might be going to Detroit, Indy or maybe Seattle. Carlos Hyde might be the Frank Gore of our generation, he will be around forever. Damnit.

3. QB Case Keenum

The Magic Man. The Minneapolis Miracle. Yes, I was there so naturally I have a soft spot in my heart for Case. He brought me to tears as much as I hate to say it. Case made 2017 a fun one and for that we have to thank him. We needed someone to rep the number 7 after Ponder used it. What a shitty draft pick. Anyways, Case threw for 22 touchdowns and 3500 yards this season. Impressive numbers. As much as id love him to stay in Minnesota, it scares me. Yeah, he had one good year. But has he proven himself? Maybe he will end up like Peyton Hillis did. Breakout year and then he sucks the year after. But I wish you the best Case. Maybe you stay in MN and id be happy with that. But if you leave thats okay too. I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave. If Case doesn't re-sign with the Vikings, rumors have been picking up of the Broncos gaining interest in him.

2. WR Allen Robinson

The Jags didn't use their franchise tag on the 24 year old WR out of Penn State and I don't get it. He caught one ball this season before he tore his ACL. Sure, he got injured and is never a guarantee after an injury. I get it. But you need good receivers for Blake Bortles to throw to, I don't think he has it in him. He doesn't have the Rodgers/Brady gene where they could throw to Grandma Barry and still throw for 4,000 yards. Robinson is a game changer, and at 6'3, he is a freak of nature. He had a career year in 2015 for 1400 yards and 14 touchdowns. Unreal. The guy is a beast and id love him on my team, but apparently the Jags don't think he's worth it. Robinson could land in Baltimore, Jacksonville or maybe even with Da Bears.

1. QB Kirk MF Cousins

Im not a fan of the name "kirk". Kinda bothers me. But I don't care! The guy is a good QB looking to make a big impact on whatever team will pay him. It started out with 8 teams in the hunt, shrunk down to four and now to two. It comes down to the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets. The Jets are gonna give him a max dollar contract and he will be wiping with 100's for the rest of his life. The Vikings are ready to offer 3 years for 91 million. Kirk, lets think about this. Go to a shitty team, maybe do decent but get a fuck ton of money. Or you can go to a Super Bowl ready team and maybe win a championship. What would be best Kirk? I think you know, and I think everyone else knows what you're gonna do. Soon we shall see you in the Purple and Gold, hopefully holding a Lombardi over your head. See you soon Kirk.

TOP 5 DEFENSIVE NFL FREE AGENTS

TOP 5 DEFENSIVE NFL FREE AGENTS

This NFL Offseason should be a hot one. There are a lot of free agents both offensively and defensively, but today we will look at the top 5 NFL free agents. This was a tough list to make. To narrow it down to 5 players is tough, there are so many to choose from and each have different playing abilities and attributes they add to a team. Demarcus Lawrence would be at the top of my list, but it sounds like the Cowboys are going to Franchise tag him if they can't come to a contract agreement before the deadline on March 6th. With Lawrence being out of the picture, this list was tougher to construct but i'll give it a shot starting with number 5.

Number 5: Dontari Poe

There is a lot I could say about this guy. The first thing is WOW. First off, he is 6 foot 3, 346 pounds. He is massive. I wouldn't want to go to Pizza Ranch with that guy, cripes. The guy is a gunslinger. He has 1 career passing touchdown. Poe even has 2 rushing touchdowns. I wouldn't wanna line up against this guy and try to take him down. His William Perry size, speed and agility is what I look for in a d-lineman. What an athlete. For a guy that weights 350 he can sure move and is a force on the Defensive line. The Memphis boy corralled 2.5 sacks and 39 tackles this past season for the choking Atlanta Falcons. Catch the ball Julio. There are a multitude of teams that could use his talents like the Falcons, Packers and Chiefs. We will see in the coming weeks where he ends up.

Number 4: Malcom Butler

Why Pete Carroll? Why didn't you run the ball? Malcom Butler is a good CB don't get me wrong but I think he is hyped up from his interception in the Super Bowl. Butler had 60 tackles and 2 INT this season but didn't play in the Super Bowl. What happened? Butler is a play maker and obviously is proven to be clutch in big game situations. It seemed like everyone liked Butler even former defensive coordinator Matt Petricia. Butler will be pursued by the New York Jets and will most likely seek a lot of money but with how his season ended previously I don't quite certainly know if he deserves it all.

Number 3: Trumaine Johnson

The 28 year old CB from the LA Rams is going to be a free agent this offseason. Johnson will search the market, but the Rams still want to re-sign him for the right price. Johnson had 65 tackles and 2 INT's this season. If Johnson were to re-sign with the Rams, their secondary would be unreal with the recent addition of Marcus Peters but like I said, for the right price. The Rams are coming off of a disappointing loss last season versus the Falcons and they're going to need to gear up for the season up ahead.

Number 2: Lamarcus Joyner

If I had any say for any football team, this guy would be at the top of my list. 2017 was a career year for him with 3 INT's and 49 combined tackles. While his stats might not show his abilities, he is a hell of a player. The Rams have a lot of decisions to make with Sammy Watkins a free agent and having to fit Joyner and Trumaine Johnson under the salary cap. Joyner is a phenomenal all around DB, he can play cornerback or even safety if needed. Although he is 5 foot 8, he packs a punch and adds to a defenses value exponentially. I don't know if Sean Mcvay can pull this one off but either way he comes home to a hot wife.

Number 1: Sheldon Richardson

Cripes. I would not wanna go against this guy. Richardson is a freak of nature. He is a phenomenal athlete. Although he only has 2.5 sacks in his last 30 games, Richardson makes up for it in other aspects of his game. The big fella even had an interception last year. Somebody put this guy on the hands team. Sure, he doesn't have the best stats in the world. But would you want to try and block this guy? Hell no. Ill watch you do it. He is an absolute force up front and makes linemen look silly. The only downside about this guy is he is an asshole in the locker room. But hey, he can do what he wants.

No matter how this offseason progresses, I anticipate it to be a good one. The combine is this weekend. The NFL is back. Thank god.

Cheers,

Burn
